As we step into June, I’m taking a moment to reflect on the incredible energy and growth that May brought, both personally and professionally. It was a month full of connection, celebration, and community, and my heart is full of gratitude.
I had the joy of meeting so many new clients who are embracing wellness and ready to feel vibrant for the summer months. May was my busiest month ever, thank you for trusting me to walk alongside you on your wellness journey.
I’m continuing to partner with the wonderful Dr. Elena Alawa, a functional medicine doctor specializing in women’s health and hormones. Together, we’ve created combined programs that blend root-cause healing with nutritional therapy, offering women deep, personalized support during every season of life. Her presence and wisdom during our May 13th Mom’s & Women’s Wellness Workshop at the Saturnia Lakes Clubhouse was unforgettable. We explored hormone balance, nourishing meals, and realistic ways to support the busy mom in all of us. Stay tuned for some wellness workshops this FALL!! Please enjoy her newsletter https://view.flodesk.com/emails/683343e6b61ee160f2577c19
I’m also thrilled about my evolving partnership with Beth McCarthy, SWFL’s #1 personal chef. Beth’s nourishing creations have added so much richness to our events, at our May workshop, she treated us to three delicious, healthy snacks that were as beautiful as they were healing. A collaboration between a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and a Personal Chef offers clients the best of both worlds: root-cause healing with customized, whole-food meal support. Stay tuned, Beth and I are planning several workshops this summer that blend flavor, function, and fun! You can find her beautiful newsletter on her web site https://joyfulwellnesswithbeth.com/
And let’s not forget the incredible Windy Johnson, founder of Pure Home 365. Her advanced water filtration system is making waves in our community, supporting clean, mineral-rich hydration. We were so grateful to have her at our May event to share how vital water quality is for hormone balance, detox, and cellular health. Beyond business, May was filled with soulful moments:
• May Highlights — A Month of Growth, Connection & Celebration
• The Level Her Up Women’s Wellness Seminar on May 6 brought together dozens of inspiring women, all ready to invest in their health and well-being.
• Volunteering at a hot yoga event for Wags to Wishes was a perfect blend of movement and a love for animals.
• Little minds lit up with joy and curiosity during a special story time focused on nutrition and healthy habits.
• Family milestones were celebrated with heartfelt pride, including both a college and high school graduation.
• A birthday was joyfully celebrated with reflection, gratitude, and meaningful time with loved ones.
• Sunsets, beach walks, and sweet lunch dates with friends—both new and longtime—added beauty to the season.
• A peaceful Mother’s Day was made even more special thanks to those who embraced the wellness gift packages.
• Thoughtful, nourishing book club gatherings made space for connection and inspiring conversations.
• The garden bloomed with intention and care, offering moments of peace and purpose—and a few new herbs for the kitchen.
• New seasonal recipes were tested and enjoyed… and will be shared throughout June to inspire your own summer table!
Keep your eyes open for upcoming summer workshops, including new events in collaboration with Chef Beth. I can’t wait to continue creating experiences that nourish body, mind, and soul.
Thank you for being here and walking this journey with me.

Winding Down Spring & Welcoming Summer
Hello Blooming Community,
As we officially welcome these long summer days, I find myself reflecting on the beautiful ways the past month has unfolded both personally and professionally.
Did you know that historically, the summer months of June and July have often been tied to nutrition awareness? From National Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Month in June to National Picnic Month in July, these warm months have long inspired people to gather outdoors, enjoy local harvests, and reconnect with simple, seasonal eating. It’s a beautiful reminder that nourishing ourselves is deeply connected to the rhythms of nature and community.
This spring, I’ve felt so grateful to walk alongside many of you as you leaned into your wellness goals through nutritional therapy. From meaningful one-on-one sessions to powerful conversations about food, stress, and balance each of you reminded me why this work is so deeply fulfilling.
I even carved out time to connect with dear friends over a few nourishing lunches (something I always encourage you to do too, community and connection are true medicine!).
And then… I unplugged for a bit! My family and I spent two wonderful weeks exploring the timeless beauty of Italy from Rome and Florence to Venice and the Amalfi Coast. We soaked in stunning art, history, and of course the incredible cuisine. One thing that struck me was just how fresh, simple, and nutrient-rich European food can be compared to much of what we see on our shelves here in the U.S.
It’s a gentle reminder for all of us:
Choose organic, USDA-certified foods whenever possible.
Prioritize real, whole ingredients.
Skip the ultra-processed, packaged foods that don’t serve your body well.
When we keep things simple and intentional, like the Italians do, our bodies and minds truly thrive.
Celebrating Pride Month
For this past June, I want to take a moment to honor and celebrate Pride Month a beautiful reminder to stand up for love, acceptance, and the freedom to live as your most authentic self. In this community, everyone is welcome exactly as they are , your journey, your story, and your vibrant individuality all belong here, always.
May we continue to lift each other up, create safe spaces, and remember that true wellness means feeling seen, supported, and loved, just as you are. Happy Pride!
What’s Coming Up Next
I’m beyond excited for the next few months! Here’s a peek at what’s blooming behind the scenes:
Dr. Elena Alalwa, Functional Medicine Doctor, will be visiting from October 27th–November 10th, and together we’re planning a series of inspiring women’s wellness workshops and personalized, bio-individual hormone support sessions. During these sessions, we’ll dive into practical ways to balance hormones naturally, reduce stress, and help you feel more vibrant and aligned in every season of life. You’ll also have the chance to ask questions, explore your unique needs, and walk away with doable next steps tailored just for you.
Spots will be limited, so stay tuned for details on how to book your session or save your seat for these special events — I can’t wait to see you there!
You can learn more about Dr. Elena at www.truehealthsolutionsclinic.com
Chef Beth and I are cooking up some fabulous summer packages and interactive nutrition & cooking workshops, all designed to help you bring nourishing, delicious meals to your own kitchen. We’ll be hosting these special sessions right here in Naples starting in August, so stay tuned for dates and details, you won’t want to miss it! www.floridahealthychef.com
I’ll also be collaborating with Windy Johnson of PureHome365 to bring you a special workshop on the powerful connection between clean water and whole-body wellness.
Fun fact: In Italy, many cities including Rome have beautiful public fountains and water spouts called “nasoni” that provide fresh, clean drinking water straight from natural springs! Locals and tourists alike carry reusable bottles to fill up as they explore. It’s a simple reminder of how staying hydrated and connected to nature’s purest resources can be part of everyday life.
There’s so much goodness ahead and I can’t wait to share it with you.
Stay tuned, visit the websites mentioned, and remember: the women’s health movement matters — no woman should have to suffer alone when we can lift each other up with community, knowledge, and care.
Seasonal Recipe: Summer Berry Chia Parfait

THERES MORE TO COME
~my story~
Hello!
I’m Stephanie Bickerton — Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) I’m based in Florida and work with clients worldwide.
I graduated from the Nutritional Therapy Association and this is MY STORY……………….
My passion for nutrition began with my roots — growing up in a small farming town — and deepened after watching my own family struggle with health issues linked to processed foods. Later, when my own health concerns were dismissed by doctors for over 30 years, I knew there had to be a better way.
Five years ago, I found a naturopath who gave me the first spark of hope. Even after she disappeared from my care, that spark ignited a fire. I started researching, learning, and eventually made the leap to go back to school and become an NTP through the Nutritional Therapy Association.
Today, I help women find clarity, healing, and confidence in their health journey — just as I did. I believe every woman deserves to feel empowered and supported in her body.
If you're ready to take back your health, I’m here to walk that path with you.
You're meant to BLOOM 🌸 — let’s begin.
